Lord Demise,
I'm not gonna bombard you with a list of bullet points of why you should join our corp. I am sure that larger corporations can list of more impressive things than I could at this time. We're really not looking for people to join us because we have the best looking set of benefits. We are looking for people to join us that get along well with our current members are are beneficial to the team.
You may fit in well with our corporation. We're a bit of an interesting corp so we're not exactly one dimensional.
Most if not all of us have pvp background ranging from low sec roaming gangs, hi sec empire wars, 0.0 alliance wars/roaming etc.
That being said many of us are engage in industry. But why? Our goal is self-sufficiency; by having means to produce expensive equipment we can supply ourselves with everything we need. That being said, if you were to join we would not require you to mine or do anything industry related. We would train you in any aspect of pvp that you would like (We do have pilgrim pilots specifically if that helps) and we would like you to enjoy the game and fill the role you desire to fill.
We are currently based in hi-sec (Amarr space). Our main outlet for pvp right now is Faction Warfare. Not admittedly this is not real high caliber pvp. It's merely an easy pvp option for us that doesn't give us sec hits.
Our long term goal is to have a powerful enough industrial backbone to support a pvp fleet. Does this mean holding 0.0 sovereignty? Possibly. It could just be for roaming.
I mentioned that we really are looking for people that fit the corp, not just a bunch of people to raise our corp member count. We are picky recruiters. Here are a few things which probably won't fit with our corp.
-Anti-pirates: We don't really like anti-pies (I mean, who doesn't like pie?!). Many of us are pirates ourselves... although we prefer the term "indiscriminate pvp". That being said, we're mining in hi sec now, so we really don't have an ego about it.
-Absolute Carebears: I'd define this as someone who is absolutely afraid to go into combat and lose a ship. Since you said you wanted to pvp, I don't think this is you.
-Corp Hoppers: Like I said before, we are picky recruiters and we don't recruit people who will go for the best set of benefits at the time and leave when those benefits no longer exist. We recruit people that will potentially stick around for some time.
-Disengaged Players: Eve is a terrible terrible single player game. Although there are times you just have to sit down and grind missions for ISK, we hope that members would at least chat with corp members.
We don't have mandatory ops or any minimal online times. Eve is a game and we all have jobs to go to. We're fairly laid back but we still have goals and we are working towards them.
Anyway, that's us. Give me a shout in game sometime and we can chat for a bit.
